Hello Mamas!

I am offering 2 full time daycare spots at my home in the Junction. I have a sweet little girl of my own who would also be part of the fun. I have 10 years of experience as a nanny and a year of experience as a mama to my daughter. I can offer your child a safe and loving environment filled with music, art, nature, good food and play! I am a singer myself and feel music and song are so important to a child's development. I enjoy nature and love exposing kids to the magic of animals (we are a pet friendly home with 2 cats and a budgie!), insects and plants -- not to mention teaching them how to protect our delicate planet. My own amazing mother was a kindergarten teacher for many years and thanks to her I have an abundance of craft ideas to entertain your wee ones. It's fun to get messy and make something beautiful! I am a stay at home mother of a 1 year little girl and I would like to offer Part-time childcare to another child preferably around the same age as my daughter but a younger or slighly older child would work well too. I have 7 years childcare experience with great references and Infant/Child CPR.
We love to visit the library especially during ryhmetime, we also love the local literacy centre and of course the nearby parks are fun too! I am a stay at home mom with an honours diploma in Early Childhood
Education. I have one child in addition to my own that I care for on a full
time basis. I am located south of Eglinton just on the west side of Jane
street, within walking distance to Roselands Jr. Public School.
I have a full time opening available for a child over the age of three,
however until I fill the spot I am available for part time or drop in care,
also age 3 and up.
I live in a cozy bungalow with a backyard and I frequent the park (weather
permitting), drop in centres (Roselands & Indian Road Jr. PS), the library
and the sing along/story time at Chapters in the Bloor West Village on a
frequent basis. When we're stuck indoors, we sing, do crafts, read stories

Hi, I've got a son who turns 4 in February. Both of his best friends moved away this month and we don't know any other kids in the neighbourhood. He's very bright and social and he's asked me to look for new kids to play with. Mostly I think he misses having someone to run in circles through the hallway/livingroom/diningroom with him. He's also into robots and puzzles and action figures, but he's not particularly macho... (he loves sleeping beauty and the barbie movies). And we have A LOT of toys - Thomas, lego, planet heroes etc... We have a clean friendly non-smoking house, but we do have a dog and two cats. We're on Maria Street at Clendenan and Dundas, a short walk from Annette school. Give me a shout if you'd like to come by for a cup of tea sometime (or quick interview, your choice!) and see if the kids hit it off. We live in an extremely child friendly neighbourhood, within walking distance of High Park, Baird Park, Chelsea Park, Lithuania Park, Clendennan Park and Vine Park.
We go daily, to one of two local drop-in centres (Ontario Early Years Centre and Parenting Literacy Centre in Indian Rd School), which provide pre-school like environments with circle time (story, poem and songs), snack, free play, arts and crafts and gym time.

We visit one of the five local parks, daily, where we have scavenger hunts, hikes, races, play tag and hide and seek. I provide fun and healthy snacks, planned daily activities, a log to track your child's day for you to keep. I am an outgoing and reliable mum and I really like to keep the kids busy and engaged. My boys are fun-loving and enjoy other children.
I have first-aid training and CPR training. I worked with Wee Watch for one year and have been providing childcare myself, for five years.
This is outside of being a mother for eleven years. I have one full-time space available or two part-time spaces. I do pick-ups and drop offs at Indian Rd Crescent School. I am looking to care for children that are two or older. My hours are flexible and I charge $10/hr .
The snacks, which I provide, are served two times a day and they consist of the usual suspects: yogurt, crackers, cheese, cut up fruit and other healthy stuff. I also have references if you are interested; from families that I've worked with and from the people who work at the centres we visit.
